My name is Eliana and I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, the land of good music and sensational dancing. I am now a true California girl with a love for the beach and a passion for dancing. I founded Acá se Baila on December 31, 2023, but the brand has always been alive as it a part of who I have always been. I was originally going to name it "Waves" because I see it as a connection between the beach and dancing; we move like waves when we dance. But a friend of mine suggested that it would be more meaningful to use a title in my original language. I have always been a passionate person as far back as I can remember, and I have always expressed my passion through the arts. 

As a teenager, I wanted to be rockstar. I was in a band and performed many shows thoughout Argentina. We never grew to significant fame, but we definitely had a lot of fun with it. As I got older, I became interested in design and began a career in the field after 10 years of hard work and study. I opened my first Graphic Design Studio in 2012. However, throughout all my various ventures into different artistic industries, my love for dance has always remained constant. I have been dancing since I was a young child, always blasting loud music in my room, making up dance routines and singing in the mirror, but I only started to taking official dance classes at 16 years old. My first dance class was a Jazz class in a very small neighborhood club. I took many breaks throughout the years with dance, but I never stopped moving around to music, art and design in different ways. 

Now I want to combine all my arts, my experiences, and my desires into the shape of a star, because I truly believe we are one and I am one. I named "Acá se baila" because it is a perfect illustration of the idea to keep moving, by dancing, and and always remain present in time; the "aca" is key. We might not always know where we are headed in life but we should always keep moving forward. Do you have a lot experience in dance? Who cares... we are all at the same level when it comes to being human. I believe that we all are stars and that we only need to shine by being present in our passions and trusting in ourselves. Our passion is our success. It is when we are out of focus of our passion that we may become unhappy. We always need to listen to our hearts and find what we love. There was a point in my life, as I am sure many of us have experience, where I lost myself through life’s many difficulties. It wasn’t until I began taking 

 dance classes again where I found myself and who I have always been. With Acá se Baila, I want to share my experience with everyone, including those who may feel lost or are at point in their life that they need a restart, a reset, and a rebirth. Dancing has always been my way of doing that. It does not require skill, it just to be ourselves.
